In the above horoscope sub lord of 6th house is Moon. It can be replaced with Rahu who is in 4th house in Jupiter star and Mars sub whereas Mars is in Kethu star (Kethu in 10th house). So it is connected with 10th house at 4th level. Hence 6th cusp is favorable for Asc.

Sub lord of 12th house is Venus. It is in 9th house in own star and Moon sub. Moon can be replaced with Rahu.Rahu is in Jupiter star. So he is connected with 8th house at 4th level (Rahu stars are occupied). Hence 12th cusp is unfavorable to Asc.

As there is contradiction among the cusps, compare with RPs. Moon is RP Lagnastar lord which can be replaced by Rahu. Further Ra is sublord of Moon. Hence strongest. Rahu favors ascendant hence promises success.
